THE GREAT RESET
As pointed out last week, there appears to be a global convergence of the forces and sources of change the consequences of which threaten the very foundations of capitalism and democracy. Some view such an interpretation as fearmongering - just another conspiracy. Others aren't quite so sure. We want to know more and have asked Heather Douglas to share with us her insights for what is sure to stir discussion. Join us Thursday 4:00 MST for a public Zoom Webinar.

THE WORLD OF HEMP OPPORTUNITIES
Few realize the extraordinary industrial applications and economic opportunity of hemp. The seeds have nutritional value and the oils for healing. The stalk when "decorticated", that is ground up to a fibre of various densities, can be used for making a vast array of materials from fabrics to construction material including concrete and as a supplement for plastics. And it is biodegradable with no GHG emissions. Development of the hemp industry means jobs and extraordinary industrial and export opportunities. But like so many great ideas, it requires financing and talent, regulatory and research support, throughout the value chain. join us farmers and suppliers, government and researchers to review progress and challenges - with a specific focus on financing and investment.
